Amane would show up to the date location, dressed nicely for an outing as she waited to see who would be showing up to be her partner for the night. She took a seat and gave one of the paper bag waiters a bit of a wink as she waited for her date to arrive
As Ohirume showed up at the date location, it would appear Orphelia is nowhere to been. It has been about, five minutes since she arrived. And the only eventful thing that happened was this. A woman dressed in a uniform matching the others with a paperbag over them as usual would come and ask.
"Your order miss?"
Amane took her order, took a single sip of it, looking rather bored. She would give this only a few more moments, should nothing else happen, she has better things to do than wait around. Mortals like this were oh so irritating.
"As you wish, and allow me to throw one valentines date on the mix."
And so, the woman would merely shed away the paperbag, and afterwards the suit. Revealing almost an entirely different person underneath. Clearly different from the others.
"Oh, and rest assured. It is on the house."
A smiling woman in her early thirties of european descent, crimson and blue eyes that shine brightly like gemstones, and were clearly not lenses upon close observation, nor was the result of magecraft.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
"Ah~ What interesting theatrics. We shall see if it was worth the date. I am Ohirume Amane, you may simply refer to me as Amane since you are to be my date for tonight."
She had all the air of a princess to her, though perhaps not the most innocent one, but more the one that was used to telling people what to do and commanding others. Her vivid purple eyes gazed upon Orphelia, judging her movements to determine if being made to wait would in fact be worth the fun
"Though I am not here for romance, simply to see what others would be around~"
"Sorry if it took a while, I was a bit mesmerized by how you look and, well.. dressing up in a second uniform while wearing my date outfit is a tad bit.. complicated. My name is Dr. Orphelia Maxwell Germi. Freelance Magus. And tonight, perhaps your most memorable companion."
A playful wink was served to Ohirume. She carried the air of both a classy gentlemen and a stage magician. Clearly a woman of theatrics. Her eyes met her vivid purple eyes without a hint of hesitation or nervousness. She has done all this before. And without sparing a moment, she would take her own seat.
"Not here for romance you say? Well, I suppose we shall see how long that lasts."
"Most memorable companion? How many times have I heard that phrase and how many times have they failed to please~?" she wondered aloud as she looked over to Orphelia.
"If I find you interesting and capable enough, perhaps you would make a good wife for one of my clansmen. Order some coffee, it would be a shame if I was the only one with a beverage~"
She gave Orphelia a wry smile, this one seemed to have some fight in her but perhaps she would be worth some entertainment. Maybe if she did well, Amane could use her to strengthen the clan's bloodline.
"Wife for one of your clansmen? My dear, my eyes are only for you. Now then, let's begin."Orphelia thought to her own mind with a smile. At least she will admit, Amane is quie honest. Standing up from her seat, she would then glance at Amane, occasionally breaking eye contact to blink but never actually looking away.
"Well, I served as your waiter, I suppose I shall serve as the bartender as well. How about you accompany me and see me make your drink in person? And rather than a normal coffee, may I suggest a An Americano instead?"
"This is simply a show of compliance for the theme of this date, it is a Coffee Date after all. Coffee is not much to my tastes normally, but I shall tolerate for tonight because it interests me to see how this Coffee Date set up by the goddess Amor will go."
She gracefully gets up and would follow Orphelia to the bar, letting her make her own drink there. She already had satisfied the coffee part of the date after all.
"Well, perhaps this might change your mind. Ms. Amane. Well..?"
Orphelia would then extend her hand, offering to hold hers and lead her to counter where the coffee beans and other ingredients for coffee making are made. Nevertheless, she has to admit to herself. It is going to take quite the person to impress this princess, it is likely she has seen it all or merely bluffing. Regardless, she will give it her best shot, no.. even better than that.
"We shall see~ I am more interested in what sort of Magus you are Orphelia. You seem plenty skilled, yes, but are you someone of Character, of Morals, of Research, or perhaps you are someone else? What drives you to study magecraft?"
Amane would ask, getting to know this Orphelia as she is would be best to find out if she was worthy of use, or if she was simply a distraction from the day to day grind.
And seeing as she was rejected, the woman would merely accept such things and move along. Heading towards the counter and merely asking the staff to borrow the counter. Which they kindy obliged and stepped aside. Afterwards, she began to gather the following ingredients. Espresso and water. First, she will pre heat the serving mug by placing the hot boiling water on it.
"I believe the wise woman shall judge for herself what am I in terms of character and morals. What drives me to study magecraft? Self preservation, I have no interest in the root, but rather I intend to live life. Why push myself to such a goal that more talented mages spent their whole lives doing and yet never reached. With all the talent I could dream off and the resoures."

"Oh and here is a fun fact for your coffee Ms. Amane. In World War 2, American Soldiers in Italy weren't fond of the Italian strong expresso, and therefore attempted to make the familiar drip coffee back at the United States. How? They simply added water to the italian expresso sho, and viola! Your coffee was born."
Amane would get a bit of a disgusted look as Orphelia mentioned World War 2 and America, but she quickly shifted back to the sweet face she had been putting on this whole time, giving Orphelia a bit of a fake smile that seemed to hide a few daggers
"The Americans in World War 2 did plenty of things, yes. I will mentioned, despite my appearance and retained youth due to my Mixed Blood nature, I have been alive for a rather long time. I watched the atomic fire from a distance as my country lost the war. Many good and talented people were lost to not just the atomic fires, but also the endless rain of fire that America sent upon many innocent lives."
Seems Orphelia had accidentally touched a bit of a sore subject with the priestess. Though, anyone who lived through that hellscape would probably have a strong opinion about it
And of course, this immediately resulted in her needing to change the subject. To Orphelia such were utter nonesense, but to Amane. It was something almost personal. Most mages care little for the history of the world. That fake smile was something the insightful magus know. Still, this was a subject she does not intend to touch upon any longer.
"I see, my apologies. I was not aware your longevity and heritage. I have only been in Japan for about.. two years taking a vacation after taking a investigative job there."
Perhaps she is lucky she is a brit rather than a yankee. Otherwise she wouldn't have stood a chance, goodness.
Amane sighed a bit, not letting the sting of the past get to her. That war had lead to her current situation of having to venture around on her own and stop being an object of praise and protection. Oh well, at least there were interesting people here
"It is a small island nation of strong traditions. I have been around for over 2 centuries now, and watched as this little nation grew to an empire, then collapsed into what it is today. Some may see it as an improvement, and I would think that in the modern era, it is. Eventually the past must be left behind. What have you left behind Orphelia? Loved ones? Companions? Students? Judging by your appearance and gait, you are not a freshly christened enchantress."
"Yes, quite beautiful. Especially the cherry blossoms, food, customs and other traditions. One of these days, perhaps I should consider a visit once this whole situation has finally been resolved. Still, I will admit, Ms. Amane you are quite straightforward I must say. Certainly a first time I have heard of a date that is not romantic."
Orphelia would then continue to finish making the coffee while making her own. It appears Amane takes some pride in her home country, nevertheless it is something she rarely sees. Most people in modern times hold little hope for their nations with the complicated politics and such.
"Students? I have never had them. Companions? A few. Loved ones, oh how rare as precious gems that is. I suppose I will leave behind my little sweet angel. My little girl, while she may be adopted. I treat her as if we share the same flesh and blood."

"Although, I am not concerned about my legacies, but it seems perhaps you are."
"Of course I would be, I carry a Divine Organ within myself. I must find a worthy successor of it within my clan, which requires that I make sure there is an individual that can carry on the legacy. Many would be concerned about such things, I believe western mages wish to pass on their Magic Crest, the knowledge they have gained. Think more of the future, beyond your own life span, and perhaps you too shall care about what happens after you die~"
Amane would say plainly, starting to get an idea of what sort of woman this Orphelia was.
"So, you are one of those who carry the Divine Organ of a Kami as I think it is called? I suppose that makes sense why you seemed to be so obsessed by such things. You see, Ms. Amane. I possess no magic crest, I have nothing to pass on, but my skills to my sweet little angel. I want her to be a capable magus, but at the same time. She shouldn't lose her self in the process. If there is any knowledge I have left to pass, I shall do so. And afterwards, what path they should walk? It is up to then. Most people see. To forget, it is their life and not ours. They should be free to choose their own journey in life."
She would then smile softly to herself, a strange look in her eye for a brief moment as she let out a soft sigh. Amane really reminds her of her sister a lot in that regards to passing on a legacy and living up to their ancestors.
"Thinking of the future is of course a neccessity, but do not neglect the present, the now you are living in. The past has already gone by, the future is uncertain. The present, it is here and perhaps may disappear in the blink of an eye. The future is whatever you make it, so make it a good one."
"But of course~ I must sow the seeds for the future in the present, and the Present is what can actively try and kill me. Of course. One must remember the past and learn their lessons from it, live in the present as that is where we exist, and acknowledge the future, as that is where it will be."
She idly plays with her hair a bit as she looks at Orphelia, this woman seems to be one who prefers not to develop attachments. A normal thaumaturge from the clocktower. Maybe she would not be interesting after all.
"And here is your coffee Ms. Amane. In some you do kind of remind of me of my younger sister who does have the crest. Actually, I am sure you do not mind me asking this question. Do you love your family? I understand if you do not see eye to eye with some of them or do not get along. But all in all?"
Orphelia then offered the An Americano to Ohirume and merely began leading the way back. At this point she is really unsure whether such a date was going to work out regardless.
Amane sighed, having taken the unasked for Coffee as they returned to the table and placed it next to her other barely touched coffee.
"I value my clan. I do not know if 'love' would be the correct term. Such a feeling is one to be valued more and kept for someone special. When I was younger I had more romantic ideals of perhaps saving myself for my true love, but those thoughts were lost in time as that opportunity was taken from me. I shall continue to attempt to guide them as their priestess. I doubt it is easy for you to imagine what it is like being disconnected by generations upon generations from any living relatives."
"I am human, Ms. Amane. I am not really someone who has the luxury of a long life such as yourself. But still, I believe despite how you may see yourself as different from us. I think you are still human, regardless of your inhuman heritage. That is all what we are after all. Still, it is not too late to look for love. If I have to imagine, you stopped thinking about love because in the end. They will pass on before you, and any connections will be wiped away by time. Is it a blessing or a curse?"
Amane chuckles, Orphelia was not necessarily wrong, but it was not the reason for Amane's lack of love. Rather far off the mark in fact.
"While my lifespan would be a problem, a love would be someone I could cherish in my heart for all time. No. The reason I do not have the same ideals of 'love' anymore is because I have seen time and time again people who use such feelings cheaply, and use that to justify their actions. When men force themselves on you, professing their love as others watch because they recognize that 'love', you will learn that True Love is something much harder to achieve."
She offhandedly mentions. She had spent much time as a weakling in her life, and a beautiful weakling was just someone to be used by others.
"Do you ever still feel lonely in such moments? I doubt you enjoy the solitude as a result of the things you say. Yet despite all this you still value this clan of yours. I suppose love is really as complicated as I thought, but such is the flaw of us humans. I just hope you find your happiness. At the very least, you are more wiser than a certain younger me who tried using necromancy to get back what she lost in the past. Only to drown in despair knowing what I got was not what I exactly wished for."
Orphelia would sigh as she merely pulled out a cigarette, glancing at Amane and essentially asking. "You don't mind?"
"I must say, Amor sucks at pairing those in a blind date."
Amane made a waving motion saying as if saying she can go ahead
"I do think it was mostly by the whims of a love goddess, whether it was for actual Love, or just for her to laugh at us. Who knows~ Perhaps I would feel a bit lonely if I worried about such things, but worrying about a thing that cannot be changed is pointless. Until I can reach the realm of the Gods, it will not be possible to find an equal that possesses a proper form. The Servants are perhaps as close as I will get, yet I myself am still not powerful enough to be their equal."
"Well, in that case. I got one thing to ask. In the spirit of valentines well. Want to go somewhere.. private? No string attached, nothing major. If you swing that way anyways. I swing both ways."
Orphelia would merely put away her cigarette for now, awaiting a response from the priestess. She was quite the enchantress after all.

"And you do not mind tea time then some other time?"
"Any other year I would have said yes with a mischevious smile, but this year I am unfortunately rather busy. I have only recently woken up from Cryo and need to summon a Servant. This was simply a distraction for a bit while I waited for the starts to align."
she gave Orphelia a teasing wink
"Perhaps another time when things are less pressing"
"That is a shame, I can be a good submissive partner, or the other way around. Still, if you are feeling up to it. Just send a familiar to me or call me by my number. It definitely could take off the stress of being stuck in this facility.."
Orphelia would merely smile slightly with a slightly flushed face as she never really asked anyone something like this straight out.
"I see. Perhaps after this I may pay a visit to Japan. You do not mind introducing me to this clan of yours."
"Oh I'm sure you could be capable of finding a partner to have some fun with aside from me~ Should we succeed in this Grand Order, I shall welcome you to my inner chambers~"
She would get up and throw Orphelia a wink
"Don't feel too bad about yourself, I'm sure there is a sexy lady or man out there for you~"
"Yes, I am capable of finding partnere to have fun with. But, Ms. Amane."
Orphelia would get up from her seat and approach Amane. Gently running a thumb across her soft cheek with a wink of her own.
"I doubt they would be as good as you. When faced with a common rock and a rare ruby, I rather choose the ruby."
"But the Ruby is not something easily obtained either~ Are you sure you do not even have a Sapphire or Emerald that you can seek out? I can't be the only gem of Chaldea that you have met can I be~?"
Amane would put a finger to Orphelia's lips, teasing her slightly but putting a firm barrier between the two
"Do remember my age~ I have heard these sweet nothings plenty before~ I know you can do better~"
"Heh, you know what they say Ms. Amane. You are like fine wine, you just get better with age. And a precious gem I like to examine, up close and... personal"
She whispered into her ears in a suggestive tone of voice before slowly pulling away. Sneakily putting a small piece of paper at her pocket before leaving with one last tease of hers."Sayonara, Amane-Chan. I look forward to seeing you again. Preferably... more intimidately."She said in a rather impressive japanese.
"Good bye to you as well Orphelia, perhaps you will find more things you wish to develop and leave behind the next time we meet~"
She would say as she turns and heads out, making sure to walk seductively so that Orphelia would at least get a bit of a show as she left. It was an interesting enough night, and Orphelia had peaked her interest enough to be a potential candidate for the future
